Life at GroopEase is usually pretty cool.  But once in a while "pretty cool" is replaced with "completely rad." This is one of those times, as GroopEase is thrilled to introduce you to Falling Andes, a four-piece indie pop band from Pittsburgh, and the EXCLUSIVE PRE-RELEASE of their brand new EP entitled Frantic. We first learned about Falling Andes a few months ago when we heard their kickass single "San Francisco" and learned that they were still in the studio recording the other tracks. Over that time, we've gotten to know the band and feel like proud parents watching their child graduate from college. In other words, Falling Andes are all grown up!  Needless to say, we think you'll really dig "San Francisco" and the rest of this 5-song EP, especially at the unbeatable price of $3. The members of Falling Andes are Jordan Wood, Dan Peluso, Peter-Michel Natishan, and Mike Boyer. Grab Falling Andes' Frantic now, and join in on the fun.

5% of sales will be donated to The Empower Nepali Girls Foundation which provides educational scholarships to neglected children of Nepal.

Flavors of upbeat, slightly polished acoustic indie rhythms, various keyboards, and one powerful, very unique voice make Falling Andes a band to keep an eye and an ear out for.  The very familiar pop feel and catchy melodies come together five-fold for the bands debut EP "Frantic".  The passion and emotion of these songs is captured strongly by the melodic and inflective vocals.  I've never quite heard anything like this voice, and I assume you probably haven't either!

There is a very full sound to this band.  The lyrical styles and words make each song an individual story, most of which are easy to relate to.  Each one is in and of itself very worthy of being featured on the radio, as I expect that they will be in the coming weeks and months.  What better way to be introduced to a band than to do so ahead of the game.  The album is only $3, so you better get it before demand starts to skyrocket.

"...Perfect jam for a little beverage-n-sun action.  Crisp ice cubes, dark shades, and a catchy groove like this to noodle its way through your brain..." - The Burning Ear

"...I've listened to the band's track "San Francisco" a few times in a row at this point, and it's burrowed its way into my skull with alarming ease..." - Tympanogram
